About the EIB
The Electrical Industry Board of Nassau and Suffolk Counties, New York (the “EIB”) administers the collective bargaining agreement between the Long Island Chapter, National Electrical Contractors Association, Inc., (“N.E.C.A.”), and Local Union No. 25, I.B.E.W. (the “Union”), as well as all the collective bargaining agreements between independent and unaffiliated contractors and the Union.
The EIB is comprised of seven members consisting of three persons selected by the Union, three persons selected by N.E.C.A. and the EIB’s Executive Director, who serves as a non-voting Chairman.
In addition to administering collective bargaining agreements, the EIB acts as the administrator of the Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee for the Electrical Industry of Nassau and Suffolk Counties, the I.B.E.W. Local 25 Health and Benefit Fund, the I.B.E.W. Local 25 Vacation/Holiday Trust Fund, the Annuity Fund of the Electrical Industry of Long Island, the I.B.E.W. Local 25 401(k) Fund and the I.B.E.W. Local 25 Pension Fund.
